Subscriptions & Purchases
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your device's store settings, not within the Owee app. On iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > your name > Subscriptions, find Owee, and tap Cancel Subscription. On Android, open the Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions, find Owee, and tap Cancel. You will continue to have access to premium content until the end of your current billing period.
I was charged but my subscription isn't showing. What should I do?
First, try closing and reopening the app to allow it to refresh your subscription status. If the issue remains, tap the Restore Purchases button in the app's store section. This will re-sync your subscription with the App Store or Google Play. If you still don't see your subscription, please contact us at support@owee.world with your purchase receipt.
How do I restore my purchases on a new device?
Sign in to Owee on your new device using the same account you used originally. Your subscription and progress are linked to your Owee account. If your premium subjects aren't appearing, tap the Restore Purchases button in the store section. Make sure you're also signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account that was used for the original purchase.
Can I get a refund?
Since subscriptions are processed through the App Store or Google Play, refund requests need to go through the respective store. For Apple, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and select the Owee purchase. For Google Play, open the Google Play Store and go to your purchase history. Both stores typically process refund requests within a few business days.

How do I reset my password?
If you signed up with an email address, you can reset your password from the login screen by tapping Forgot Password. You will receive a password reset link at your registered email address. If you signed in with Apple or Google, your password is managed through those services.
How do I delete my account or my child's data?
You can request account deletion directly within the app through the Parent Dashboard under Settings. Alternatively, you can email us at support@owee.world with your request. We will delete all associated data, including your child's profiles and progress, within 30 days in accordance with UK GDPR requirements.

Yes. Owee is fully compliant with COPPA, UK GDPR, and the Age Appropriate Design Code. We collect only the minimum data needed for the app to function, we never sell personal information, and all data is encrypted in transit and at rest. There are no ads, no social features, and no user-generated content.

How do I change my child's profile details?
Open the Parent Dashboard by tapping the parent icon from the Knowledge Base screen and completing the parent gate challenge. From there you can access your child's profile to update their name, avatar, or other details.
How do I switch between child profiles?
Tap the avatar icon on the Knowledge Base screen to open the Profile Switcher. From there you can select a different child profile. Each child has their own independent progress, subjects, and treehouse upgrades.
Questions seem too easy or too hard for my child. Can I adjust the difficulty?
Owee automatically selects questions based on your child's age, which is set when you create their profile. Make sure the date of birth is entered correctly so the app serves age-appropriate content. The adaptive learning system also adjusts over time based on your child's performance, prioritising topics that need more practice.
Does Owee work without an internet connection?
Owee requires an active internet connection to load questions, sync progress, and download media content. This ensures your child always has fresh educational content and their achievements are safely saved to their account.
How do I update the app to the latest version?
On iPhone or iPad, open the App Store, search for Owee, and tap Update if a new version is available. On Android, open the Google Play Store, search for Owee, and tap Update. You can also enable automatic updates in your device settings to always stay up to date.
