Delete Your Account
Owee is operated by Realtime Tech Ltd. If you wish to delete your Owee account and all associated data, you can do so directly from within the app or by contacting our support team.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: From Within the App
- Open the Owee app and sign in to your parent account.
- Navigate to Settings from the Parent Dashboard.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm your email address and password.
- Type "delete my account" to confirm.
- Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted.
Option 2: Contact Support
If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us at support@owee.world. Please include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 7 working days.
What Data Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed within 30 days:
- Parent account information (email, password, profile data)
- All child profiles and their personal information (name, age, avatar)
- Quiz progress, learning history, and quiz responses
- Knowledge Base (treehouse) progress
- App preferences and settings
What Data Is Retained
Certain records are retained after account deletion as required by law:
- Payment and transaction records — retained for up to 7 years to comply with financial reporting and tax obligations.
- Anonymised, aggregated analytics — data that cannot be linked back to any individual may be retained to improve the service.
Important Notes
- Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All learning progress will be lost.
- If you have an active subscription, please cancel it before deleting your account to avoid further charges.
- Deletion applies to the parent account and all child profiles linked to it.
